A new update to the Link mobile app and T3 will streamline the servicing of Preventative Maintenance (PM) intervals for assets. This enhancement will consolidate overlapping intervals into a single Work Order per asset instead of generating multiple ones based on the thresholds indicated in the Maintenance Group settings (Company > Account page).

This improvement will reduce duplicate Work Orders and create a more organized process. The consolidated service interval Work Orders feature will be available on the Link mobile app and the T3 service page.

Important Notes

  • The system automatically generates a Work Order when an asset's service interval reaches the usage or combination interval threshold, as indicated in the Maintenance Group setting (Auto-create Work Order When...). Note: This setting defaults to a 90% threshold unless configured by the user.
  • If the asset has other intervals that have reached its threshold, as indicated in the Maintenance Group setting (Add warning color to interval when..), those intervals would automatically be added to the single auto-generated Work Order. Note: This setting defaults to a 70% threshold unless configured by the user.
  • This new feature applies to new Work Orders going forward, not existing work orders (open or closed) in the system.
  • The system will not combine intervals into a manually created Work Order.
  • The system will not combine time-based ONLY intervals.
  • Task lists assigned to each respective service interval will be pulled into the single WO generated with all overlapping intervals.
